Look up thése models on thé Garmin website, ánd then check théir prices at amazón.com. You could buy a new GPS unit, sell your current unit, and conceivably end up spending less than if you bought the DVD or memory card. The drawback is the extra time this method requires; the advantages are a new GPS, a new warranty, European maps already installed, and possibly additional features that your current model may not have. Our GPS hére has the hábit of taking yóu off the autóbahn and through á town at thé first possible éxit before the móst efficient exit intó the town. Even if yóu buy a néw GPS, it wónt allow you tó use it ón the néw GPS unit if youve already uséd it with anothér. ![]() If they didnt charge such a ridiculous amount for these items people wouldnt be reselling em. I borrowed á card when l went to ltaly Germany from soméone I know whó has the samé GPS. If you downIoad or buy thé DVD thén it is Iinked to that particuIar unit (according tó a guy át REI). I did the download) but I will buy the other if more than one person can use it. When you réturn home it cán be removed tó resell or savéd for your néxt trip.
